NSFC Board Policy Regarding Service Animals, Pets and Emotional Support Animals
The NSFC Board has been faced with questions and concerns regarding emotional support animals and pets being present in meetings at the fellowship of late. We realize that times are especially difficult right now, and while we support your decision to have emotional support animals, we will no longer be allowing pets or emotional support animals of any kind present in meetings moving forward, effective immediately.
The only exception to this rule will be trained service dogs that are not considered pets and are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability and it’s work must be directly related to the handler’s disability.
Under the ADA and Arizona law, owners of public accommodations are not required to allow emotional support animals, only service animals.”
We thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.
